Lawn Clean-up
How
Lawn clean-up involves the use of a Lawn blower and a
vacuum collection system, to clean up wet and dry leaves
and twigs.
When
Leaves should be picked up before they are allowed to
form a thick layer of leaves on the lawn. Too often the
leaves are not completely down or picked up before the
first snows. All leaves will be removed from the premise
by the end of the day.
Alternative Method
It has been documented by the Cornell Cooperative
Extension that up to 10 inches of leaves in one year can
be mulched onto the lawn with no damage to the lawn. If
mulched frequency, they decompose readily, helping to
create compost and organic matter for the soil.
